Terms of Service

Last updated: August 3, 2026

1. What Broadscan is

Broadscan ("we", "us") provides automated assessments of publicly accessible websites. You submit a URL; we analyze it using automated checks, third-party data sources (such as Google PageSpeed Insights), real-browser screenshots, and AI review, and produce a scored report. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptable use

You may only submit websites that are publicly accessible. You are responsible for ensuring that requesting an analysis of a site is lawful in your circumstances. You may not use the service to probe, disrupt, or overload websites, to circumvent access controls, or to violate any applicable law. We may refuse to analyze any site and may rate-limit or block abusive usage.

3. Reports are automated opinions

Reports are generated automatically, in part by AI systems, without human review. They are provided for general informational purposes only and may contain errors, omissions, or findings that do not apply to your situation. They are not professional, security, legal, or compliance advice, and a good score is not a guarantee that a website is secure, performant, or effective. You are responsible for independently verifying any finding before acting on it.

4. Free and paid reports

The free tier shows section scores and finding titles. A one-time payment, at the price shown at checkout, unlocks the full detail of a single report, including finding explanations, recommendations, and PDF download. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Report links

Reports live at unlisted, hard-to-guess URLs and do not require an account. Anyone with a report's link can view it (including its paid content once unlocked), so treat the link like a ticket: keep it, and share it only with people you want to see the report. We are not responsible for access resulting from a link you shared.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the service or reliance on a report. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the report giving rise to the claim.
